DC Lighting System won award at the 2023-24 Hong Kong Industrial Awards (HKAI) organized by the 香港中華廠商聯合會 (CMA)

ASTRI 研發新直流電電子系統 加強用電能源效益
近年全球都致力減低碳排放,本港有科研機構研發出新的直流電電子系統,加強用電能源效益。
一般電力分為直流電和交流電,而由於交流電在使用上較安全,所以較為普及,一般入屋的就是交流電。
不過直流電的好處電壓穩定,如冷氣機等要長期用電的家庭電器,用直流電可更加節能。有科研機構就研發出可安全使用直流電的電子系統,並把入屋的交流電,全轉換成直流電,達致省電效果。
科研機構集成電路及系統副總監李天河指出:「由於我們現有的電源,也是交流電,所以便有一個交流(電),變直流(電)的轉換,如果我們的電源,來到家中已經是直流電的話,便省卻了交流(電)轉直流(電)轉換,從而省卻了能源損耗。」
團隊說透過用中央轉換器,將交流電轉成直流電,可較現時方法節省百分之15的能源損耗。
要推廣直流電,第二步是為直流電研發專用的電子斷路器。
李天河稱:「我們做的電子斷路器,跟傳統的機械斷路器,內部結構就有很大分別,我們的電子斷路器裡面,它便是沒有機械,是全電子運作,所以是沒有機械動作,速度會比傳統斷路器快一百倍以上。 」
科研機構正在部分辦公室,檢視新系統的節能效果,並進行一系列模擬室外溫度和濕度測試,研究將系統安裝在室外的可能性。
